EV Plus – What’s included

Parts Included

All mechanical and electrical parts of your vehicle, excluding those parts listed in section E.

Labour rate

This level of warranty includes the hourly labour rate of up to a limit of £150 per hour (including VAT) with a £3000 repair limit on parts listed and additions (including VAT), or any higher rate noted on your warranty schedule.

Other items included

Oil seals Any oil seal causing a major oil or fluid leak (oil or fluid must be dripping) and need to be replaced immediately

Wiring and cables All wiring looms and cables.

Parts replaced in pairs Brake discs, coil road springs, and hydraulic shock absorbers.

Your warranty will also pay for any service items which may be required in order to complete a valid repair. Including fluids and filters.

All included free of charge on the EV + Policy

Airbag

This is to pay for the repair cost due to breakdown or premature failure of any component part of your vehicle’s airbag system.

Air-conditioning

This is to pay for the repair cost due to breakdown or premature failure of your vehicle’s air-conditioning system.

Driver assistance 

This is to pay for the repair cost for the breakdown or premature failure of one listed component part of the driver assist system, providing it was fitted to your vehicle by the manufacturer as original equipment.

MOT failure

This provides cover for the repair cost for the part that caused the MOT to fail, as well as the re-test fee, T&C’s apply. 

Multimedia 

This is to pay for the repair cost following the breakdown or premature failure of either the radio, CD player, DVD player or Sat Nav equipment which, was fitted to your vehicle by the manufacturer as original equipment. 

Electric Vehicle Battery (EVB)

This is to pay for the repair cost following the breakdown or premature failure of the vehicle’s EVB provided it was fitted to your vehicle by the manufacturer as original equipment .

Exlusions

• Does not have a current MOT.

• Does not have a current Vehicle Excise License (Road Tax)

• Is SORN • Has not been serviced as recommended by your vehicle manufacturer. (see Section F – Servicing Requirements).

• Does not have a V5 DVLA logbook in your name.

• Where the current, displayed mileage is found to be false.

• Has been declared an insurance category A, B or S (formerly C) insurance write-off or stolen and recovered during the period of your warranty.

• Has been used as a taxi, driving school or rental , off-road or in any competition, race, rally or track event which comes to light during the period of your warranty.

• Has been modified from the manufacturer’s original design or specification which comes to light during the period of your warranty.

Platinum – What’s included

Parts Included

All mechanical and electrical parts of your vehicle.

Labour rate

This level of warranty includes the hourly labour rate of up to a limit of £75 per hour (including VAT) with a £2000 claim limit and a £3000 limit on additions, or any higher rate noted on your warranty schedule.

Other items included

Oil seals Any oil seal causing a major oil or fluid leak (oil or fluid must be dripping) and need to be replaced immediately

Gaskets Cylinder head gaskets

Drive belts Camshaft timing belt, including tensioner, auxiliary. (Must have been replaced in line with manufacturer’s recommendations).

Parts replaced in pairs Brake discs, coil road springs, and hydraulic shock absorbers.

Cooling system Radiator, heater matrix and oil cooler.

Your warranty  will also pay for any service items which may be required in order to complete a valid repair. Including fluids and filters

Additional Warranty Items

Airbag (£49 12m)

This is to pay for the repair cost due to breakdown or premature failure of any component part of your vehicle’s airbag system.

Air-conditioning

This is to pay for the repair cost due to breakdown or premature failure of your vehicle’s air-conditioning system.

Driver assistance (£49 12m)

This is to pay for the repair cost for the breakdown or premature failure of one component part of the following systems, providing it was fitted to your vehicle by the manufacturer as original equipment.

MOT failure

This provides for the repair cost of any of the components listed under the following headings (anything not mentioned is not included), which have failed the annual MoT test, including any re-test fee.

Emissions

This is for the repair cost of reconditioning (or where a reconditioned part cannot be located), replacing your vehicle’s catalytic converter, diesel particulate filter, exhaust-gas recirculation valve, oxygen, nitrous oxide or AdBlue/Eolys sensor, injectors or pump (CAT, DPF, EGR, LAMBDA, NOX), due to your vehicle failing an exhaust gas emissions test.

Multimedia (£99 12m)

This is to pay for the repair cost following the breakdown or premature failure of either the radio, CD player, DVD player or Sat Nav equipment which, was fitted to your vehicle by the manufacturer as original equipment. 

EV Hybrid (£99 12m)

This is to pay for any one component (and one only at a time) of the listed parts if they were fitted to your vehicle by the vehicle manufacturer as original equipment.

Steps to get you back on the road.

Step 1.

Fault diagnosis.

When you take your vehicle to the repairing garage, they will take a look and diagnose the issue for you. The cost of the diagnostic is your responsibility, but don’t worry if the repair request is authorised, we’ll reimburse you for a reasonable diagnostic fee.

A diagnostic test involves a professional connecting your car to a scanner and revealing the issue by interpreting the error codes related to a specific fault.

Your repairing garage submits the assessment form.

Once your repairing garage has identified the fault with your vehicle, they need to complete and submit the form on the link below.

Warrantywise review.

Before any repair work is carried out, your Warrantywise technician will review the assessment. We ask that you wait for our approval and a repair number. This ensures that the repairs are covered under your plan and helps you avoid any unexpected costs.
